We count visits to the site anonymously, without cookies. The additional measurement tools are only activated if you allow us to.
To understand how the site is used, we count page views, reading time, buttons tapped, and dates searched for availability. We do not use cookies or any other data stored on your device, and we do not collect personal data: our server calculates an anonymous fingerprint valid for a single day only (generated from a random code that changes daily and is then deleted) and does not retain your IP address. We cannot know who you are, nor recognise you from one day to the next. Country and city are approximate. The data remains in our database in Europe (Ireland) and is deleted after 25 months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site.
If you choose “That’s fine” on the banner, we also activate tools that use statistical cookies: PostHog (anonymous recording of how the page is used, with all form fields obscured, and click maps) and Google Analytics 4 (statistics, without advertising and without ad personalisation). If you choose “No, thank you”, these tools save nothing on your device. Pages containing your booking details are never recorded.
Your choice on the banner (so we do not ask you on every page) and, during the booking process, the dates selected and the request code (so they are not lost when moving from one page to another): these are technical tools and do not require consent. With full measurement, PostHog and Google Analytics cookies are added.
The map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps and loads only if you press “Show the map”: from that moment, Google’s cookies and privacy policy apply. Online payment, when active, takes place on the provider’s secure page (Stripe).
